Steve Miller Band first hit the psychedelic blues scene in the late 1960's, and by the early 1970's, the band had several hits that are now rock classics, including “Jet Airliner,” “Take The Money and Run,” “Fly Like An Eagle,” and “The Joker,” which was both a #1 Single and Certified Platinum. The band has sold more than 30 million records in a career spanning more than 40 years. Miller’s trademark blues-rock sound made him one of the key artists in classic rock radio. The announcement of the 2013 touring season by the Steve Miller Band follows four of the most busy, productive years in the long, illustrious career of Steve Miller, in demand around the world, whether returning for his second tour of Europe or headed off on his New Zealand/Australia tour in spring 2013. He released not one, but two new albums – the 2010 #1 Blues album Bingo and its successor Let Your Hair Down (2011), the first new Steve Miller Band records in eighteen years.
